Cultural Journey Through Northern Pakistan

This 15-days adventure takes you through the breathtaking landscapes and rich cultural heritage of Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, offering an immersive experience of historic forts, ancient Buddhist sites, vibrant bazaars, and remote mountain villages. The journey begins in Islamabad, followed by a flight to Skardu, where you will explore Kharphocho Fort, Marsur Rock, and the Sarfaranga Cold Desert. Traveling north, you will pass through Hunza Valley, visiting its historic Baltit and Altit Forts, bustling markets, and the turquoise Attabad Lake. Further into the Karakoram region, you will witness the Passu Glacier, cross the suspension bridges, and travel deep into the Chipursan Valley, near the Afghanistan border, where you will experience Wakhi culture and visit the sacred Baba Ghundi Shrine in the Pamir Mountains. The return journey includes cultural stops at Chinese workers graves in Gilgit, the 7th-century Kargah Buddha, and the ancient petroglyphs of Chilas before descending through Babusar Pass and Naran back to Islamabad. The final day explores the historic streets of Rawalpindi, the famous Truck Art workshops, and the grand Faisal Mosque, providing a rich cultural closure to the journey.
